Gilbert, who was born in San Antonio, TX, has been tattooing professionally in shops for over a decade now. He started his career as a tattoo artist back in 1998 along the upper Midwest, from Chicago to Milwaukee. He returned to his hometown of San Antonio in 2007. He has had a formal apprenticeship in tattooing, piercing, sterilization procedures, and participates in continuing education in these fields. He is also Blood Borne Pathogen certified to OSHA standards, which he renews annually. He has taken some formal art college classes over this period as well. Gilbert enjoys doing art in any media, with tattooing being his favorite. He is a full custom artist, able to bring your ideas to life on the skin, and give you a tattoo that you can be proud to carry for life.
